ESG has been recognised as a CPD course provider by the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE). CIBSE is a well-established professional body that exists to support the science, art and practice of building services engineering, by providing members and the public with first class information and education.
The Water CPD courses cover the water treatment of cooling towers and closed circuit heating and cooling systems, with a focus on the issues that affect them and how to effectively manage them to ensure efficient operation. The courses will deal with the use of the ozone, filtration, automated chemical treatment of closed circuits and water recycling. The course has been designed to help building services engineers who have design responsibility for, or are involved in, the installation, operation or maintenance of this type of equipment.
The Asbestos CPD courses are designed for building managers, architects and engineers that need to understand the current regulations and risks involved in asbestos management. The courses are also useful for electrical engineers and facilities management staff, who work on the fabric of the building and need to understand the implications to their day to day job. As such, they are designed to provide attendees with the skills required to avoid the risks associated with asbestos and provide them with the knowledge to know how to comply with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.
ESG offers two levels of training, the first is a UKATA approved course providing in-depth coverage of asbestos awareness. The second, is a shorter version covering the basic elements described in the Approved Code of Practice L143 “Managing and Working with Asbestos.”
