Our annual event, the Railway Environmental Forum (REF), is around the corner once again, with only three weeks to go.
We’re looking forward to welcoming delegates to discuss a range of health and safety-related topics, including legionella, asbestos, occupational air monitoring and the importance of health and safety-related training.
Our annual event, the Railway Environmental Forum (REF), is around the corner once again, with only three weeks to go until our experts present on a range of environmental, safety and compliance topics.
This year’s REF is being held at the National Rail Museum in York on Thursday 14 November. The venue is home to iconic locomotives and an unrivalled collection of engineering brilliance celebrating the past, present and future of innovation on the railway.
Lunch will be served in the Great Hall next to the Mallard, and there will also be plenty of time to explore the Museum.
If it’s your first time attending the REF, Nicola Atkinson, SOCOTEC’s rail account manager, explains more about what you can expect from attending.
SOCOTEC will be welcoming discussions in an open environment, encouraging the sharing of knowledge among people who are in similar situations. Those in attendance are typically facilities managers, safety managers and environmental standards managers.
By setting aside a day to share our knowledge and expertise with key members of the rail industry, you can get to grips with some of the really important details that will naturally occur in any rail-based role.
