Case Study
SOCOTEC offered EPC and SAP Calculation for 115 new residential Buildings at Haringey

Working on behalf of a leading M&E consultancy group we were initially instructed to produce an energy statement and undertake design stage SAP calculations on 115 new residences at a site in Haringey, with an aim to produce final EPCs on completion in accordance with Part L regulations. However, before we could commence with full SAP calculations there was an initial requirement for the project to meet pre-commencement planning conditions. Subsequently SOCOTEC were needed to do a wide range of additional assessments in accordance with Greater London Authority (GLA) planning department, these assessments would confirm whether the project would meet requirements as designed or if alterations would be necessary prior to construction starting.
Our team rose to the challenge, by working closely with our client we keep the project on schedule whilst providing dynamic solutions to the pre-commencement planning conditions. The team demonstrated their ability to adapt and problem-solve to ensure the successful and timely outcome of the project.
