About Brian Nottage
Brian is an Operations Manager for the Southern GI Region who has experience working for both Designers and Contractors on ground investigations, both commercially and operationally throughout the UK.
Brian is responsible for ensuring the offices in the Southern Region deliver budgets safely and to target. This includes the overall management responsibility for commercial performance, staffing and delivery.
Brian’s projects have included large railway infrastructure schemes (including Kings Cross and Euston Stations), along with large water delivery projects and more recently the latest Phase of the Lower Thames Crossing Project

Brian has been an Operations Manager at SOCOTEC UK since 2021. Prior to his current position, he was a Senior Engineer and then Project Manager with the Company. Brian previously worked for Peter Brett Associates (now part of the Stantec Group).

Education
Portsmouth University, BSc Applied Environmental Geology, 1995-1998
Nottingham Trent University, MSc Geotechnical Engineering Design & Management, completed in 2006 (part-time whilst employed)
Currently completing a L5 qualification in Leadership and Management

Fellow of the Geological Society, since 1995
