About Michael Plummer

Michael Plummer has over 15 years experience working in the construction industry specialising in foundation testing and instrumentation. He has worked on projects requiring load testing and monitoring across a wide variety of infrastructure applications, as well as research and development in the offshore energy industry. He has been responsible for multiple initiatives across the business to drive improvements to process, automation and digitisation. Michael is experienced in system design, project management and technological development.

He began his career at SOCOTEC UK as a site-based technician working on construction sites in the UK and overseas. He trained as a Mechanical Engineer before gaining experience in additional disciplines including hydraulics, electronics and structural engineering which were applied in solutions in the Civil Engineering sector. Michael also has in-depth experience in technology and IT, programming and website development. He has applied these diverse skills to find solutions to a wide range of applications across multiple sectors. Michael has been involved with many of the high-profile infrastructure projects across the country including HS2 and the PISA and PICASO R&D projects for the offshore wind energy sector.
