About Pete Reading
Peter is a geotechnical Consultant who has experience working for both clients and contractors on residential, commercial and large infrastructure projects throughout the UK. Peter is experienced in tender preparation, cost plans and cost reporting, technical support and reporting as well as providing contract administration under the ICE suite of contracts.
Peter’s projects to date have included residential civil infrastructure, including technical support for the Thames Tideway; lower Thames crossing Stonehenge bypass; HS2 and HS1 the channel tunnel and numerous other major infrastructure projects as well as many smaller developments and projects.

Peter has been a Geotechnical Consultant at SOCOTEC UK since 2011. Prior to Peters current position, Peter was co-founder and Technical Director at Equipe Group. Prior to this Peter has previously worked for companies such as ESG where he was Associate Director; Soil Mechanics ; Exploration Associates; Terresearch/Taylor Woodrow and Cementation.
