    Wed 05/31/2017 - 09:54

The UK’s leading provider of testing, inspection and compliance services, ESG, a SOCOTEC company, will be exhibiting at this year’s Yorkshire Geotechnical Group Summer Seminar at the Royal Armouries, Leeds (21 June).

The one-day event will focus on geotechnical failures and lessons learnt for the next generation, with case studies including Carsington Dam, Heathrow Express Tunnel and Hatfield railway slip to illustrate the implications of failures. Presentations throughout the day will highlight the ownership of geotechnical risk, liability, dispute resolve and forensic geotechnics.

Technical experts from ESG will be exhibiting on stand 3 to provide advice regarding ground investigation, geotechnical and environmental consultancy and foundation engineering.

ESG offers a broad range of consultancy, advisory, site based assessment and data management services within the geotechnical, geoenvironmental and environmental sectors, both in the UK and overseas. With a team of more than 50, ESG has a long-standing reputation in delivering complete, practical and cost effective land use solutions.

Chris Ford, sales director, Infrastructure Services, ESG, commented:

“The Yorkshire Geotechnical Group Summer Seminar is a small, technically focussed event and gives ESG a chance to engage with consultants about new development and news within our sector. It also allows our technical experts the opportunity to demonstrate ESG’s capabilities and expertise in ground investigation and geotechnical services across a range of industries with contacts old and new.”
