Our annual Railway Environmental Forum (REF), is around the corner once again, with just over a month to go.
We’re looking forward to welcoming delegates to discuss a range of health and safety-related topics, including Legionella, Asbestos, environmental noise and COVID-19.
This year’s REF is being held at the BMA House, London, on Thursday 18 November. Lunch is included, with refreshments also provided throughout the day.
If it’s your first time attending the REF, Nicola Atkinson, SOCOTEC’s rail account manager, explains more about what you can expect from the event.
“SOCOTEC will be welcoming discussions in an open environment, encouraging the sharing of knowledge among people who are in similar situations,” said Nicola. “Those in attendance are typically facilities managers, safety managers and environmental standards managers.
“By setting aside a day to share our knowledge and expertise with key members of the rail industry, delegates can get to grips with some of the really important details that will naturally occur in any rail-based role. We look forward to networking with rail delegates from across the country, equipping them with the knowledge and expertise they need to remain safe and compliant with environmental legislation.”
