We are very delighted to announce that we have achieved GOLD status within the 5% club.
After being audited on our ‘Earn and Learn’ roles within the business, we were able to demonstrate over 5% of our employees are in an apprenticeship, graduates schemes or other training programme. At the very first time of participating in the 5% club annual audit, we are thrilled to hit this incredible milestone.
All of the 5% club members’ results were shared at an annual symposium held by the 5% club at BT Tower in London. Pictured below are Lisa Massey, HR Director, and Jess Holbrook, Apprentice and Training Manager, on the rotating 34th floor of the Tower, looking out over the London skyline. The symposium was a great opportunity to meet other employers that took part in the 2024 audit and delve deeper into the group’s results to see what improvement are necessary for the future generations of talent.
Lisa Massey adds ‘Here at SOCOTEC we have been on quite the evolutionary journey over the last 3 years. To grow our Apprenticeship offering from a ‘standing start’ to a position of having more than 5% of our employees on Earn & Learn programmes across more than 20 different Apprenticeship programmes at all levels. We are very proud to become members of the 5% Club and even more proud to have achieved GOLD in our first year!’
With our Second Annual Apprentice graduation event tomorrow, it’s fitting that we are able to share this achievement. Tomorrow at Pirelli stadium, Burton on Trent, we will be celebrating the achievements of over 40 apprentices together with our Executive team, our apprentice line managers and mentors plus some of our valued training providers.
We are excited to continue to expand our SOCOTEC Academy creating even more opportunities for individuals eager to launch their careers with SOCOTEC while empowering our current workforce to further enhance their skills and expertise.
