Project Overview

Construction of a new 12km coastal highway in Réunion, an oversea department of France located in the Indian Ocean.

Our client, Herbosch-Kiere was appointed to provide specialist marine services on this challenging engineering project which included stone dumping from the self-propelled marine working vessel 'Atlantis' under a BIMCO charter agreement.

Our Services

Worked as part of Herbosch-Kiere's project team providing commercial services associated with the charter agreement. Pre-contract services included budgeting and charter amendment advice and post-contract commercial management services including:

Monthly budgeting reviews and assessing progress against tender
Payment applications and valuations
Assessment of daily vessel logs to ensure the correct charter rates were applied
Monthly cost and value reconciliations
Determining the final account with the client
Involvement in an insurance claim between the parties associated with grounding of the vessel
