Employees at SOCOTEC UK have experience in both our forensic expert witness and quantity surveying departments. This range of experience provides our team with the skills to minimise disputes on live construction projects and, if required, to provide advice on dispute resolution methods.

Using our combined quantity surveying and expert knowledge, we deliver the following services:

We review the source of any problem that has arisen by reviewing contract information, correspondence and documents to identify the source and to advise on actions to reduce or avoid further problems.

Following termination or final account stage, we independently review the works and provide an independent report on works completed and the associated value.

Prior to negotiation, mediation, adjudication or arbitration, we compile the appropriate documentation, including quantum reports, to be used in dispute resolution procedures.

We provide reports, assessments and substantiations to the highest standard at all stages of a dispute to present swift and effective solutions.

Whether a claim is received or produced, we assess each claim robustly and independently to produce a conclusive evaluation.
